Large Genoese Chandelier, Murano Glass And Crystal, Late 18th Century

Exceptional Genoese chandelier with 12 lights spread over two superimposed rows, with wrought iron sconces in the shape of scrolls.

Main structure in carved and gilded wood, with final damping in the shape of a spinning top. Arms of light adorned with round beads and Murano glass rosettes, linked together by garlands of beads of different shapes.
Ornamentation of cut crystal tassels in the shape of a drop, pear, flower and dagger. Cups decorated with leaves receiving light bulbs in the shape of fake candles. Italian work, typical of the Genoa region, made at the end of the 18th century.
