Chandelier with flowers
A late 19th-century gilt-bronze six-light chandelier with arum lilies. The structure is designed as an intertwining network of glass leaves and painted flowers. The organic, finely chased and gilt-bronze frame simulates the flexibility of sinuous plant stems, while the calyxes of the arum lilies serve as bobeches to hold the lights.
