Important Italian Majolica Dinner Service – 62 Pieces; Decorated with Pleated Ribbons and Floral Garlands

An important glazed earthenware (majolica) dinner service featuring scalloped edges. Each piece is hand-painted with a design of blue pleated ribbons—accented with small dots—alternating with delicate garlands of yellow flowers and green foliage against a creamy-white background.

The serving pieces are embellished with superb relief handles and finials, modeled in *trompe-l’œil* style to realistically resemble apples and foliage. The undersides bear the handwritten workshop signature: “Lab. N. Giustiniani & G. Lorenzello.”

The service comprises 62 pieces, including:

26 Dinner plates (26 cm)
13 Dessert plates (22 cm)
12 Soup plates (26 cm)
4 Large serving platters
2 Small serving platters
1 Medium serving platter
1 Medium deep serving dish
2 Salad bowls
1 Sauce boats
1 Soup tureen
1 Covered serving dish
Excellent condition

Every piece in this unique set was entirely hand-drawn and hand-painted, and bears the workshop’s signature.
