Exceptional four-leaf screen decorated with fables by Jean de La Fontaine.
This Screen is composed of four sheets.
Two panels illustrate the fable on “The Rooster and the Fox” the fifteenth of the book The other part illustrates “The Wolf and the Lamb” the tenth fable of Book I by Jean de La Fontaine.
The screen is double-sided, with a very delicate floral decoration on the back.
