Artist’s Mannequin
Articulated natural wood lay-figure. This studio companion was used for creating compositions and scenes, but also served as a valuable tool for the « drapery study ». Indeed, arranging drapery was a particularly demanding task and could take several hours to set up. The mannequin therefore offered an undeniable advantage: perfectly still whenever required, it never grew impatient.
